NWTA Leader Track Guidelines

To become a NWTA Leader In Training (LIT) within MKP UK&I you will need to do the following:

  1. Staff 10 NWTA’s

  2. Complete a MKP UK&I approved Inclusivity training (currently NCBI)

  3. Enter into a Mentoring Relationship with an Active UK&I NWTA Co-Leader

  4. Ask for a Community Blessing (typically done by sending out an e-mail to UK&I Chat)

  5. Ask your Mentor for a UK&I Leader Body Hotseat (this can be done in person on an NWTA by prior arrangement or via Zoom)

  6. Talk to your mentor about how to pay your annual fee (currently 50 Euros) to the European Leader Council and have your profile updated.

Staff Training 1 (ST1) must be completed by your 4th NWTA Staffing and it is strongly recommended that you should staff PIT’s as a way of growing your leadership skills for NWTA’s. It is also strongly recommended that you complete LT1 and LT2 before becoming a LIT.

Once steps 1-6 are complete your details will be entered on your profile and you will be listed as an Active UK&I LIT; you will also be added to our local UK&I Leader Track E-Mail List.

You are expected to staff at least once a year, renew your hotseat every two calendar years (if your hotseat was in 2025 then it must be renewed by Dec 31st 2027) and pay your annual fee to the European Leader Council by the given deadline.

Details on becoming a Co-Leader Candidate (CLC) and Certification as a Co-Leader are shown HERE
