Rob Buswell

My name is Rob Buswell. After completing my degree in Psychology in 1998, I began training as an accountant – a career path I’ve broadly followed for over 25 years. During that time, I’ve managed the books, records, and finance functions for businesses of all sizes across a wide range of industries. I am currently the Financial Controller for a logistics company based in Dublin. With extensive experience in financial operations, governance, and compliance, my intention is to bring a steady and structured approach to the role of Treasurer.

I am the proud father of two amazing daughters. Originally from England, I spent nearly 20 years living in Cork and now reside in County Kildare. I feel a deep appreciation for both countries, but Ireland is where I now call home.

Outside of my professional life, I am a fully qualified Conscious Connected Breathwork facilitator, accredited by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM). My work focuses on trauma, the nervous system, emotional expression, and shadow integration. I am also currently studying to become a certified practitioner of Compassionate Inquiry. I’m passionate about supporting people through life’s challenges and creating spaces where individuals can heal, grow, and feel empowered – safely and compassionately.

Why is MKP UK & Ireland significant to me?

When I completed my NWTA in April 2024, I was struck by the depth and power of the experience, and knew I had found something truly meaningful. MKP UK & Ireland offers a rare kind of space- one grounded in love, support, challenge, accountability, and real, tangible personal growth. It’s a place where I continue to learn- about myself, about others, and about the wider human experience.

I deeply value the ethos and culture of this organisation- the way it invites us to see the parts of ourselves we may have hidden, and to grow from that awareness while always feeling supported. It’s a genuine honour to serve MKP UK & Ireland as Treasurer, and to contribute to an organisation whose impact I have both experienced and witnessed first-hand."
