Paula Chinnery

Having spent over 30 years in the media industry – (in advertising and marketing), magazines and newspapers, along with digital properties. I have enjoyed a career spanning the youth market (Just Seventeen), mainstream (Marie Claire and the Times/ Sunday Times) and black media (The Voice and Weekly Journal). I have enjoyed working with some of the UK’s most well-known brands, building sponsorships and advertising revenues that enabled us to thrive and deliver better products for our readers. It was a lot of fun. I went on my Woman Within Weekend in 2006 and was aware that one day, I will be part of this community.

Why MKP?

 Having 3 brothers growing up in the UK, gave me insight, up close, on the enormous challenges young men face, in growing into their male hood. I have a personal interest in rites of passage, (for both men and women), MKP creates space where men can be seen, heard and witnessed in a safe and compassionate environment, for many, for the very first time. I believe every man should have access to this community, every man should be seen.

I live on the South Coast, with my husband Simon (MKP and ABOB). I love travel, music,

reading and growing (produce or flowers, both bring me joy), I’m looking forward to helping bring this community to more men in the UK&I.
