Legacy Giving

Thank you for considering leaving a gift to MKP UK&I in your Will. This page will give you information you need to help realise your wishes.

Consider the impact you can have

You have likely heard the phrase “A society grows great when old men plant trees in whose shade they know they shall never sit”. Our legacy is what we leave behind.

For men who have completed the Weekend Adventure we are reminded that realisation of our Life Mission is beyond our mortal life.

As you reflect on your life, at any stage, imagine how different it might be had the NWTA not existed. You know how the work transformed your life and you have invited men to attend a NWTA because you experienced a new way of being.

As an organisation, MKP UK&I depends on men inviting men to the Weekend Adventure, living their Mission, volunteering at MKP events, and paying it forward with monthly contributions.

Another way to support MKP is by planning a Legacy Gift from your estate. A bequest can be financial gifts, the proceeds from life insurance, investments or pension assets, to name a few.

TIP: To ensure your Will is valid, it must meet these requirements:

  • Your Will must be on paper, a ‘soft’ copy of your Will on a computer is not valid

  • Your Will must be signed by you, in the presence of two witnesses, who also sign your Will in your presence

  • Witnesses can be anyone over 18, neither can be a beneficiary of your Will, nor the spouse or civil partner of a beneficiary of your Will

  • Witnesses do not need to read your Will or be aware of its contents

More information on Wills can be found on the Citizens Advice website.
