My work for the last 20 years has been with leaders in organisations - senior level coaching, team development and facilitation, designing and running leadership and organisational development programmes across the private, public and non profit sectors. The focus of my work includes - leading in complex and messy times; strategic thinking; how leaders can find meaning in their work and enable others to do the same; how to create and sustain change plus how emotional competence underpins effective leadership. I led an educational charity for several years so I am very familiar with the challenges of running an organisation well.
Why MKP is significant to me?
Joining The ManKind Project as a Trustee was an easy decision. With its focus on developing mature and healthy masculinity, I feel MKP men make the world a safer and better place. How could I not be involved with that? I believe in a world where we are clear and confident in who we are and in what we want, where we are safe to be all of who we are without hiding and without masks. MKP makes a huge contribution to that and I am proud to be supporting its work. Also, as a feminist, I believe that what’s good for men is also good for women; and that women’s development and growth also supports men.
I live in Horsham, am married to Dominic and love the outdoors, the sea and yoga. I also volunteer as a Samaritans listener.
